or: The place where you tell vanilla9 who you actually are
Here you manage everything related to your account.
In other words, the things vanilla9 needs to know so it can address you correctly and keep your account alive.
Do not worry. This is not a tax return. Just a few fields.
Profile Information
Here you can change your basic account details:
– username
– first name
– last name
– email address
So if you suddenly realize that your username still comes from that phase of life where you called yourself “xXDarkWolf92Xx” everywhere, you can fix that here.
Changes are applied when you click Save.
Plan
Here you can see which plan your account is currently using.
In the screenshot: No Plan
This simply means you are using the base version.
Below that, vanilla9 also shows which components are currently available, for example:
– Dashboard
– Awareness
– Todos
This way you can quickly see which areas of vanilla9 are active.
Update Password
Here you can change your password.
For that you need:
- your current password
- a new password
- confirmation of the new password
Small tip:
“123456” is technically a password, but it is about as secure as a bicycle without a lock in the middle of Berlin.
So it is better to choose something that does not appear in the top ten of every hacker’s wish list.
Since it is important that nobody reads your todos, we put this warning into this fancy box.
Delete Account
Here you will find the big red button.
If you delete your account, all data will be permanently removed.
This includes:
– tasks
– settings
– content
– your digital existence inside vanilla9
Everything. Gone.
So the warning is meant seriously: if there is anything you want to keep, export or back it up first.
In short: this button is the digital version of saying “Adios Amigos.”
